THE MADRE is the mother of all Kikoko canna-cocktails. The garden of earthly delights is a bouquet of earthy goodness mixed with the soothing benefits of Sympa-Tea’s, low-dose, feel-good, healthful nature.

Combine water, fresh herbs, kumquats and honey in a saucepan and bring to a steady simmer.

Remove from heat, pour into glass with Sympa-Tea tea bag and steep 5 minutes.

Remove tea bag and chill in the fridge.

Pour over tall glass full of ice, drizzle the beet juice on top.

Garnish with a California poppy (yes, it’s edible and it’s legal as long as you don’t pluck it from state property.)
