THC is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, and 10mg is the legal single-dose limit in most legal states. We recommend this product for people who know their dose. Unless you are used to cannabis-infused products, this tea will get you high. We do not recommend Positivi-tea if you are brand new to the cannabis experience.
CBD is a non-psychoactive compound (it does not get you high) renowned for a whole host of healing properties (anti-inflammatory, calmative, pain relief; see our cannabinoid chart).
If you are a newbie and want to start low, we recommend you order Sympa-tea. (Though please note we are not trying to up-sell you by suggesting Sympa-tea, which costs a bit more. Sympa-tea contains high levels of CBD, which is currently much more expensive than THC).
Peppermint A popular flavoring herb, peppermint also offers numerous medicinal benefits, particularly in treating gastrointestinal disorders. It is used to increase mental alertness, cool the body, support the respiratory system, alleviate pain and prevent cell damage following radiation.
Green Tea Packed with antioxidant polyphenals, green tea lowers the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Studies suggest it also improves brain function, increases blood flow and lowers cholesterol, and there is evidence that EGCG, the active ingredient in green tea, may help in weight control.
Spearmint Herbalists use spearmint to treat gastrointestinal issues, clear the mind, and alleviate headaches, menstrual cramps, arthritis and sore throats. The plant is high in antioxidants and possesses anti-fungal properties.
Licorice Root In addition to being 50% sweeter than sugar, glycyrrhizin, a key compound of licorice root, balances adrenal function, which is helpful in relieving stress and depression. Licorice root is also used to relieve heartburn, decrease inflammation, soothe sore throats and relax bronchial spasms.
Lemon Myrtle A flavorful and refreshing herb, lemon myrtle possesses anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, and is a potent antioxidant. It is commonly used to treat respiratory and gastrointestinal problems.
Lemongrass This fragrant plant contains antimicrobial properties and is used to combat digestive and respiratory disorders. It is also employed in controlling cholesterol levels, lowering blood pressure and reducing the pain of arthritis.
Safflower Petals Once dried, the glorious red, orange and yellow flowers of this plant calm the mind and soothe frayed nerves. They are also used to quiet coughs and bronchial spasms, relieve gastrointestinal disorders, lower cholesterol levels, reduce fever and boost the immune system.
KikoGold Our proprietary water-soluble, 100% natural cannabis ingredient.
1. Place one sachet in a cup and add 6-8 ounces of boiling water (the amount of water has no affect on the cannabis potency of your tea).
2. Allow to steep for at least 60 seconds, after which all of the active cannabis ingredient will have dissolved into your tea.
3. Remove tea sachet when you have steeped to taste, stir and sip. If you like your tea sweeter, by all means add honey or sugar. However, there is no need to add anything else to your tea. Unlike many other canna drinks, no additional ingredients are needed to activate the tea.
